Mental Health is about one’s psychological and emotional well-being.
We hear a lot about mental health in our society these days. Sometimes it’s a positive story; however, unfortunately, often it’s talked about in a negative sense. Whether it’s because of someone’s ‘Mental Health Condition’ that they lost their job, or they made a bad decision… or… the list could go on.
The reality is that Mental Health affects 1 in 5 people, and having a Mental Health condition can range from a severe diagnosis, to not coping with stress, grief and loss or anxiety in your life.
Let’s stop the stigma and talk about it. Challenges with Mental Health will affect everyone at some point or other. It’s nothing to be ashamed of and is definitely worth talking about.
So every day this week I will send through a quick and easy tip to implement into your day to reduce the stigma of mental illness or to improve your own mental health.
