Spend 1 hour today, writing down 5 things you want to accomplish in November. Just making the list will move you toward your goals. Write it. – @ozlifeadvice
November in Australia, often brings a sense of joy as Christmas is getting closer, school is nearing the end for the year, family holidays maybe drawing near and summer is on our doorstep. However, for others it can be overwhelming for some of the previous reasons as well as the fact that another year is almost over. The later months in a year, allow us to reflect on the year that has been and sometimes we are sad about what we haven’t achieved.
There are several times a year when I think ‘this year is going way to fast, I can’t believe it’s May or July or October, already!’ I am also surrounded by people who comment in a similar way and sometimes I can hear both joy and excitement that the year is going fast or disappointment and heartache that the year is almost over.
The busier and more committed our lives become, the faster the years seem to fly by. As the old saying goes…
However, is that really true? Or is it that the busier our lives get the faster life seems to go? I hear more and more young people commenting on how fast life seems to go.
So this November, instead of ‘complaining’ about how fast the year has gone and resenting the fact it’s November, I’m choosing to be intentional. I’m going to make a list of 5 things I’d like to accomplish in November. I’m not going to write more than 5 and I’m going to make sure the list stays intentional. I’m going to refrain from making it a To-Do-List.
